Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, and prepare all samples for testing and analysis. Enter patient information accurately and timely, maintain patient and specimen logs, and handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed while providing superior customer service to all patients. Work Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 7:30pm with rotating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
