Job Summary
The 2nd Shift Group Team Lead II position involves leading a team in the accurate put-away, order picking, stacking, loading, and shipment of frozen products. Responsibilities include assigning workloads, monitoring performance, conducting forklift training, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience. Proficiency in basic math, strong leadership skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions in English are essential. Flexibility for overtime and the capability to multitask are necessary for success in this role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift experience including Stand Up, Sit Down and Pallet Jack forklifts
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole number, fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Ability to lead, train and counsel subordinates
- Well-developed and demonstrated organization, attention to detail, problem solving, interpersonal, negotiation, and communications skills
- Ability to comprehend and follow detailed verbal and written instructions and to engage in complex negotiations in English
- Reliability in attendance and performance
- Flexibility and the ability to perform and/or monitor multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to work overtime as required, including some weekends
- Capable of determining root causes of problems and implementing corrective measures
