Job Summary
2nd Shift Groundsperson needed at Douglassville Quarry to support production and maintenance on the second shift. Responsibilities include performing plant maintenance, maintaining clean work areas, learning plant functions, cross-training to learn all plant jobs, taking direction from site personnel, and working in a team. Safety-focused with adherence to MSHA and H&K safety policies. High school diploma or GED required or related experience; willingness to work second shift; ability to operate/learn heavy equipment and use PPE; physical ability to meet job demands. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or related experience and/or training
- Willing and able to work a second shift schedule
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- 3+ months related experience (preferred)
- Experience operating heavy equipment (preferred)
- MSHA or other relevant safety certification (preferred)
- Experience in quarry/industrial outdoor setting (preferred)
