Job Summary
Learn and perform various tasks and rotate through production areas including the cabbage line, veggies, potato room, and dishes. Follow all MGK HACCP, SQF, SOP, and SSOP programs while complying with food safety procedures and wearing required PPE. Utilize calculators for unit conversions and obtain forklift or pallet jack licenses as needed. This part-time role requires Monday through Friday shifts from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM with a wage of $18.40. Located in Albert Lea, MN, you will work within a collaborative operations team focused on producing safe, high-quality prepared foods.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1-3 months of related experience
- Ability to read and comprehend documentation in English including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to obtain forklift and/or pallet jack license
- Ability to lift and/or carry occasionally up to 40 pounds
- Team player attitude and willingness to fill in as needed
- Positive communication with others and timely reporting of concerns and questions
- Utilize calculators to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Pre-employment drug testing
- Background screening
