Job Summary
General Labor role focusing on insulating and crating processes during final assembly. Responsibilities include measuring interior dimensions of finished shells, installing insulation materials, lifting lugs, foil tape, and labels to specifications; operating glue guns, drills, sprayers, and pin spotters; inspecting welds and applying cold galvanizing spray; tracking and logging work via computer/tablet; measuring product dimensions and weights; cutting lumber for crates with power tools; constructing shipping crates with pneumatic nail guns; preparing units for shipping; loading completed products onto trucks per carrier/DOT/CDI requirements; communicating with supervisors and production staff to coordinate schedules; and other duties as assigned. Requires ability to read blueprints, attention to detail, safety-consciousness, and physical ability to perform tasks including lifting and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Basic understanding of blueprints and designs
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to safely use various measuring tools and hand, power, & pneumatic tools
- Willingness to cross-train in other production departments
- Understanding of work orders and job schedules
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and 70 pounds occasionally
- English language proficiency
