Job Summary
Support residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health while encouraging independence and preserving dignity. Maintain a neat appearance, exhibit a positive customer service attitude, and demonstrate personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision. Provide timely and accurate reporting to appropriate people, maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information, and participate in designated facility in-services. Help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities. This role requires a second shift (2pm-10pm) full-time schedule with a high school diploma or GED and current CPR certification preferred.

- Displays personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision
- Demonstrates consistent work attendance as scheduled and addresses work related problems with the proper individuals
- Communication skills that include careful listening, being sensitive to other people's thoughts and feelings, giving thoughtful responses, and the timely and accurate reporting to appropriate people
- Maintains confidentiality of both resident and staff information
- Must present with a neat, clean appearance
- Participates in designated facility in-services
- Help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities
- Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Prior direct care experience preferred
- Current CPR certification preferred
