Job Summary
Load and unload trucks and rail cars, moving material from inventory to production and back. Break packs to correct sizes, label materials, and organize the yard while maintaining preventive maintenance on equipment. Complete preshift startup checklists, empty trash and wood hoppers, and ensure all paperwork and production records are accurate. Follow forklift rules, policies, and safety programs while reporting any equipment concerns. Maintain correct documentation and ensure the work area remains clean and organized.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 9th grade basic education
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift driving experience
- Working knowledge of basic math
- Working knowledge of inventory techniques
