Job Summary
Load and unload trucks accurately in a timely manner while operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks to comply with safety and quality standards. Notify management of damaged or suspect product and complete daily distribution paperwork including receiving logs and load sheets. Perform sanitation tasks for trailers and equipment, communicate with the Shift Leader regarding safety and product levels, and assist customers with will-call pick-ups. Ensure compliance with Safety, Sanitation, and HACCP policies and federal regulations. This 2nd shift role (6 PM - 3 AM) pays $18 hourly for experienced operators.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and/or understand written and/or verbal policy, instruction and direction in English
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift and manual/electric pallet jacks
- Ability to perform mathematical tasks required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with loading and unloading trucks
- Previous experience with technologically advanced order picking system
