Job Summary
Weigh trucks loaded with crushed stone and asphalt, issue weigh slips, and tally material totals for production control. Compute records, sort tallied items, and move them to storage or production areas. Dispatch trucks to job sites, take orders from contractors, and communicate with suppliers and supervisors regarding job concerns. Monitor traffic and weather conditions affecting schedules, manage petty cash, and provide customer service to internal and external clients. Maintain MSHA and H&K safety compliance while working the second shift at Douglassville or Birdsboro quarries.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR a month of related experience and/or training
- State Weighmaster's license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Reliable transportation to travel to regional quarries
- Valid Driver License and good driving record
- Able to work a flexible work schedule
- Attention to detail
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- Ability to work second shift
- Pre-employment drug testing
