Job Summary
Set up and operate heat treat, coating, and roll stamp machines to process barrels, receivers, and frames. Regulate temperature, control gas mixtures, and monitor dew points while loading parts into tempering ovens. Perform vibratory tumbling, burnishing, and polishing operations to remove scale, rust, and burrs. Maintain tanks by checking chemical concentrations, titrating solutions, and cleaning fixtures. Visually inspect and gauge parts at prescribed frequencies to ensure quality standards. Change roll stamps, adjust equipment, and operate hoists to move work between carriers and racks.
Required Qualifications
- Job requires knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures
- Must be able to use hand tools and power tools as required
- Must maintain shapes, contours, dimensions and edges, and match and blend surfaces to accomplish quality finishes
- Must maintain standard level of production output given normal level of production interference with minimum supervision
- 3pm-11pm
