2nd shift Finishing Operator

Set up and operate heat treat, coating, and roll stamp machines to process barrels, receivers, and frames to quality standards. Regulate temperature, control atmosphere gas mixtures, and monitor dew points while loading and unloading parts into tempering ovens. Maintain tanks by checking chemical concentrations, titrating solutions, and verifying controller accuracy with calibrated thermometers. Perform visual inspections, gauges, and hand polishing operations using wheels, wire brushes, and grit belts to finish metal components. Transport materials, clean fixtures, and maintain orderly work areas while adhering to safety procedures. Work the 3pm–11pm shift with minimum supervision.
