Job Summary
Finished Wire Operator responsible for cleaning, setting up, operating and maintaining rolling and sizing equipment to finish high-speed wire into final shapes/sizes; responsibilities include mounting coils with an overhead hoist, setting up straightening rolls and rolling mills, operating turk's head and other components, maintaining cleaning tanks and solutions, recording production data, and adhering to TPM and safety procedures. Requires experience with micrometers, charts/specifications, attention to quality, and a HS diploma or GED; position located in East Longmeadow, MA on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:15pm-11:45pm) with a pay range of $19.96-$20.97 per hour plus 9% shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 1-2 years experience preferred
- Knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers
