Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer for Final Test in Fort Worth locomotive plant leading problem resolution for methods, processes, tooling, equipment and design; develop locomotive test plans, design/build tooling within budgets, lead team to learn new test processes, and drive lean manufacturing, safety, and cost/benefit improvements. Requires strong communication, engineering knowledge, and ability to collaborate across the test team; 4-day 10-hour shift (Mon-Thu) 3:15PM–1:45AM; exposure to PPE on the shop floor; salary range $62,100-$85,300; benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited university or college
- high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience
