Job Summary
2nd Shift Fabricator position onsite in Oshkosh, WI. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining the Press Brake, deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing machined parts; reading and interpreting blueprints, BOMs, and work orders; calculating bend allowances and tooling requirements for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum, steel); performing inspections and ensuring tolerances; performing cycle counts and maintaining production paperwork; operating material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, hoist) and adhering to safety procedures; coordinating with management and production control to resolve machining or quality issues. Requires proficiency with measuring tools (tape measure, squaring tools, electronic level, calipers, micrometers), understanding tolerances, and basic problem-solving in a production/technical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with CNC programming/setup for CNC press brake preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and BOMs
- Ability to calculate blank sizes and bend locations
- Knowledge of tolerances and metrology
- Ability to operate small forklift, pallet jacks, hoist
- Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Understanding of safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to perform cycle counts and maintain paperwork
- Intermediate PC skills (email, MS Office)
