Job Summary
2nd Shift Extrusion Operator responsible for operating plastics extrusion equipment to produce hoses, supervising the extrusion process, applying Total Preventive Maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality per procedures. Duties include operating extrusion, knitting, and winding machinery; reading blueprints/diagrams; adjusting parameters (line speed, dimensions, branding) per customer requirements; coordinating with Quality Auditor for production approvals; documenting work and maintaining non-conforming material controls. On-site attendance at the Anderson, Indiana facility is required; shifts may include overtime/weekends. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and warehouse experience with strong computer skills; forklift experience and manufacturing-related training are preferred. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and process optimization in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Six months or more of warehouse job experience
- Technical training or experience in manufacturing preferred
- Six months or more of forklift experience
- 5+ years of computer proficiency with touch screens and computer applications
