Job Summary
Verify items received and shipped by checking identifying information, inspecting conditions, and recording counts. Maintain inventory by labeling, placing materials in stock, and using scanners to track pallet locations. Prepare products for shipment by pulling, packing, loading, and securing items per defined procedures. Operate powered industrial vehicles including forklifts, power jacks, and high reach trucks while maintaining certifications and performing pre-use inspections. Monitor case integrity, report substandard items, and stretch wrap pallets manually or with powered machines. Complete general housekeeping and support assigned supervision duties. Work in a freezer/refrigerator environment, regularly standing for eight hours, lifting up to 60 pounds, and following safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 5 years experience operating a stand up forklift, high reach, and other motorized equipment
- Prior use of reach truck and other motorized equipment
- Use non-motorized pallet jack
- Must be able to work in a freezer/refrigerator environment
- Effectively handle lifting, pushing, pulling up to 60 pounds frequently
- Frequently bend, twist, stoop, grip, climb or balance, and reach with hands and arms
- Meet attendance requirements of the position
