Job Summary
Expeditor on the 2nd shift coordinates and distributes daily workflow in a high-volume warehouse setting, monitors restock and orders, estimates completion times, trains staff on production guidelines and safety, communicates with leadership, collaborates with other business units, adapts to changing priorities, and inspects equipment at shift start while potentially operating powered lift equipment. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with RF units and warehouse systems, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4-6 years prior warehouse/distribution experience
- Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information
- Basic math skills in counting and quantity
- Ability to work with a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company, job, customers and co-workers
- Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Excellent organization skills; multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- May require SanMar Lift Operator Certification in compliance with OSHA guidelines
- Demonstrates ability to follow directions and change priorities as business needs require; rotate to other production functions as needed
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to learn Internal Operating System and operate RF unit
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Comprehend verbal and written instructions
- Overtime may be required
