Job Summary
Feed conveyor with product and pack items by picking up goods from trays, aligning them on the belt, and mixing chocolate and nuts into molds. Visually inspect products for damage or nonconformity during feeding and after packaging, then weigh, pad, close, label, and code date boxes before placing them into cartons. Operate carton tape, egg rolling, mold, and plaque washing machines while maintaining a clean work area and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP standards. Perform special projects as assigned and assist co-workers in other departments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to read, write, and comprehend English to safely perform all duties and requirements of the position
- Must be reliable
- Must be detail oriented
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must possess the knowledge and understanding of good manufacturing practices
- Must possess the knowledge and understanding of HACCP standards
- Must be able to continuously walk, stand, sit, squat, or kneel
- Must be able to work in an environment with extreme temperature changes ranging from 60° to an excess of 100°
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lb with or without the aid of material handling equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience packing, feeding, or experience in food manufacturing
