Job Summary
Support engineers in implementing and maintaining manufacturing processes and equipment while assisting with troubleshooting tooling and process issues on the production floor. Collect and analyze data to support continuous improvement efforts, participate in root cause analysis, and assist with developing standard work and technical documentation. Perform time studies to evaluate workflow efficiency and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while working cross-functionally with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams. This role bridges the gap between engineering design and production execution, requiring a combination of manufacturing floor and office environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
- Safety Sensitive Role: Yes (requires passing additional drug screening)
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or technical environment
- Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field
- Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment or processes
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
- Basic CAD knowledge (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
