Job Summary
Conduct complex production assembly and disassembly operations on structural and mechanical aircraft systems using manual techniques. Execute structural modifications, including pull holes, riveting, and fastener removals, while interpreting engineering drawings and FAA-approved procedures. Operate specialized tools such as torque wrenches and micrometers to ensure component functionality and safety. Maintain necessary certifications and support equipment setup, breakdown, and facility organization. Requires 1+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies, a high school diploma, and FAA-approved technical data knowledge. Full-time on-site role in Fort Lauderdale for a global aviation solutions leader.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents
- 1+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies
- Must have a minimum of a high school education or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience assembling aircraft/aerospace parts, components, and/or assemblies using applicable drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing plans
- Possess the ability to construct, install, dismantle, relocate, modify, and/or repair OEM equipment of all types
- Knowledge of wiring schematics on understanding and reading a manual to install components
- Maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits as required for assigned work
