Job Summary

Perform all job duties in accordance with company safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures and diagnostic tests on vehicles. Complete maintenance tasks based on driver pre and post trip inspections, troubleshoot reported problems, and rebuild hydraulic components or replace engines as needed. Work in adverse conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow to repair equipment and vehicles while maintaining relevant records. Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing preventative maintenance requirements and making appropriate corrections when necessary. This role participates in a Career Pathways Program offering advancement opportunities and merit increases.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including frequent lifting of heavy components, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing and consistent standing, walking and grasping
  • Successful completion of pre-employment testing, including a drug screen
  • Ability to work a second shift
