Job Summary
Area Supervisor at Family Dollar's Rome, NY distribution center leads a multi-shift, automated operation, directly managing up to 40 non-exempt associates. Responsibilities include ensuring appropriate staffing, maintaining production, quality, and safety standards; providing orientation, coaching, and training; delivering corrective actions; fostering a positive team environment through effective communication; coordinating across departments to meet daily goals; enforcing housekeeping standards; conducting inspections of the work area/equipment; preparing work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacements; and providing data input for required reporting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years supervisory/management experience in an automated distribution or production environment
- Familiarity with Radio Frequency and pick-to-light systems desired
