Job Summary
Delivery Lead on the 2nd shift responsible for guiding a transfer delivery team and providing day-to-day direction, coaching, and training to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate delivery of products between two Cottage Grove locations. Oversees route execution, coverage, and overnight transfers; ensures DOT compliance and maintains vehicle/warehouse cleanliness. Leads by example to foster a positive team culture and continuous improvement, while supporting supervisor/manager in performance management and addressing internal customer requests. Requires High School Diploma or GED; Class A CDL; 1 year delivery experience; ability to operate a lift truck; DOT qualifications; and willingness to work a varied schedule. Knowledge of Eclipse and RF guns is a plus, along with strong safety and customer-service orientation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year previous delivery or courier experience required
- Class A CDL is required
- Ability to operate lift truck equipment
- Ability to meet and maintain qualifications required by DOT
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Flexibility to provide coverage outside of regular schedule
- Knowledge of Eclipse and RF guns preferred
- Ability to lift 100 lbs on a consistent basis
- Ability to work a varied shift
