Job Summary
Read and document scales to verify parts conformance, utilizing hand tools to deburr, cut, and polish components within the Burr Balance department. Operate overhead and jib cranes to lift and move heavy parts, while also using air tools, die grinders, and hand drills as needed. Complete accurate certification reports and adhere to all safety procedures and policies, including Pure Safety training. Work Monday-Thursday from 3:30PM to 2AM ET in a team-oriented environment, with occasional overtime and rotation to other department areas.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and CIP environment
- Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions
- Basic shop math skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to perform repetitive arm motions
- Ability to perform frequent lifting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work overtime as required
- High School Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in machining or similar field
- Experience in using and interpreting precision measuring instruments, such as tape measures and machinist scales
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and finishes during the application of machining
- Forklift certification
