Job Summary
Lead a team of employees to complete daily and weekly tasks on time while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Conduct crew meetings to provide clear instruction, train members to reach daily production, and ensure safety policies and operational processes are followed at all times. Record and report time lengths for each task, inspect product quality, and complete all daily reports. Maintain open communication with managers and directors while operating necessary machinery and vehicles. Work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions, including dust and allergens, with occasional indoor administrative duties.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year(s) experience in a leadership role
- 1+ year(s) experience in Manufacturing/Warehouse environment
- 1+ year(s) experience in horticulture growing
- Strong leadership skills and ability to give/receive constructive feedback
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work and communicate across multiple departments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and seek solutions to problems
- Detailed-oriented with the ability to multitask
- Must be able to work in various types of weather conditions
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
- Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language
- Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens
- Long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis
- Ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility
- Ability to life 35 pounds unaided
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
