Job Summary
As a 2nd Shift Composite Technician at Tiara Yachts, you’ll work hands-on with fiberglass, resins, and core materials to build boats. You’ll prepare molds and apply fiberglass and resin using hand layup or vacuum infusion techniques, accurately measure, cut, and place fiberglass cloth and core materials, and use rollers, brushes, and tools to ensure even resin distribution and air removal. You’ll monitor curing times and perform post-cure trimming or grinding, follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and equipment, maintain a clean and organized work area, and communicate material needs or issues with your team or supervisor. On-the-job training is available to help you gain skilled-trade techniques. Required Qualifications
- Experience with composites, lamination, or bodywork is a plus, but not required
