Job Summary
2nd Shift CNC Machinist will operate manually controlled and CNC machine tools such as lathes and milling machines to cut and produce precision parts for machines, instruments, and tools. They will program CNC mills and lathes by entering instructions, monitor machining quality by observing drilling, grooving, turning, facing, knurling, and thread-chasing operations, perform basic maintenance, and document actions in the internal system. Must read blueprints/engineering plans, adhere to safety procedures, and work with engineers or production staff to resolve machining or assembly problems. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, team players with strong computer/technical skills and a valid driver’s license, with high school diploma or equivalent and production-environment CNC experience.
