Job Summary
2nd Shift CNC Machinist responsible for complete setups, touch-offs, and tool offsets on CNC machines for high-complexity aerospace parts, reading and modifying G-code (MasterCam workflows), and inspecting parts to strict AS9100D/ISO 9001 standards. Demonstrates GD&T literacy and collaborates with engineering to optimize machining strategies, quality control, and process improvements while supporting manual operations and maintaining flight-critical tolerances on exotic materials.
Required Qualifications
- Machining Experience: 3+ years with CNC setups and troubleshooting
- Technical Proficiency: perform own setups, offsets, and G-code modifications
- Precision Background: close-tolerance machining and fabrication of custom equipment
- Blueprint Literacy: read complex prints and GD&T requirements
- Tooling Knowledge: precision machining tools, metal fabrication, and mechanical equipment
