Job Summary
2nd Shift Care Staff to assist residents in an assisted living community. Responsibilities include monitoring self-administration of medication, maintaining resident hygiene, recording vital signs, ensuring resident safety, completing incident reports, assisting with meal services, and observing changes in residents' conditions. Must demonstrate a safety-first attitude, with strong communication skills for residents and families. Ideal candidates have caregiver experience, compassion for seniors, reliability, and availability to work weekends. Location: Durham, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Caregiver experience strongly preferred
- Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families
- Strong sense of maturity
- Ability to adapt to each resident and setting
- Trustworthy and attentive
- 18 years or older
- Must be available to work weekends
