Job Summary
Set up and operate sheet metal presses to cut, bend, and form parts using pre-sheared stock and manual adjustments. Perform minor die repairs, obtain first-piece approval from inspection, and monitor production runs while making necessary equipment adjustments. Use precision measuring instruments, read blueprints, and apply shop mathematics to fabricate units with close tolerances. Complete required safety, ISO, and technical training modules within the first 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- High mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of CNC machines
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient with precision measuring instruments
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to lift heavy items
