Job Summary
The 2nd Shift Brake Hose Supervisor directs manufacturing department activities, ensures production schedules and quality standards are met, plans work assignments, and trains new employees. Responsibilities include troubleshooting machine issues, communicating with management, performing root cause analyses, and maintaining employee motivation. Candidates must possess basic knowledge of TPS, excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and have supervisory experience. The role requires a minimum of three years in a Team Leader position or similar manufacturing experience, adherence to company policies, and participation in continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of Team Leader experience or previous manufacturing work experience in an equivalent position
- Over 70% process experience and working knowledge
- Basic Knowledge of TPS
- Good attendance and setting an example for team members
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience with Daily Management
- Ability to communicate to other departments
- Trains Team Leaders, Lead Operators and Team Members
- Familiarity with QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery)
