Job Summary
Inspect, set-up, measure, and remove excess flash from processed forged metal parts to minimize final repair effort. Position parts on the saw bed, offload and stack material according to established procedures, and maintain accurate part counts. Inspect machinery for working order, perform adjustments or replacements, and conduct preventive maintenance as specified. Work safely in an organized, lean environment while wearing proper PPE and ensuring quality and production requirements are met per job-specific travelers. Maintain good attendance to meet production needs and perform any additional duties instructed by the department manager.
Required Qualifications
- Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
- In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person
- English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
- Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines
- Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs
