Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment. Estimate time and material costs, perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times, and respond to emergency breakdown service calls. Conduct safety checks on vehicles, complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times, and assist senior mechanics on project work. Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports while maintaining a clean, safe work area compliant with OSHA standards. Work Monday through Friday, 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am), with occasional Saturdays at the Sun Valley, CA hauling site. Candidates must have two years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and must travel to Arizona for two weeks of training.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience with Electrical Fleet engine knowledge
- 2 or more years of experience with Fleet hydraulic knowledge
- Must have own tools
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be able to travel via plane to do 2 weeks of training in Arizona
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- A valid drivers license, with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
