Job Summary
2nd Shift Assembly Supervisor oversees daily assembly operations on the 2nd shift in Greenville, MI, leading a production team to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals. Responsible for coordinating workflow, maintaining production records, training and coaching employees, reading blueprints/BOMs, and collaborating with management to achieve production targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires HS diploma or equivalent, prior supervisor experience with 5-30 people, and preferred refrigeration knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience as lead or supervisor of 5-30 people in an assembly line environment
- Technical knowledge of refrigeration preferred
- Ability to read/interprete drawings or blueprints
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to train and cross-train personnel
- Ability to manage production records and meet pace/quality goals
- Proactive safety leadership and ensuring proper safety practices
- Willingness to work on 2nd shift (2:30 p.m.–1:00 a.m.)
- Ability to use basic assembly tools (pneumatic, cordless, hand tools)
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Experience with BOM and material selection
