Job Summary
Perform cleaning, disassembly, and repair of flight controls, structures, stabilizers, nacelles, exhaust, and other aircraft parts. Repair, modify, replace, or overhaul aircraft parts to ensure airworthiness while adhering to company, FAA, and customer-approved maintenance manuals. Fabricate parts as required, utilizing knowledge of metal alloys and appropriate sealant and fastener application methods. Operate heat control units and complete work within estimated or budgeted hours. This full-time 2nd shift position in Ft. Lauderdale requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, a high school diploma, and at least three years of aviation component repair experience.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 3 years experience in aviation component repairs
- Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Suite
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Ability to lift 70 pounds
