Job Summary
2nd Shift Converting Operator at Pregis in Sussex, WI. Responsible for setting up and operating converting equipment according to production specs and safety procedures, performing machine startups/shutdowns and basic troubleshooting, monitoring machine performance and adjusting to maintain quality and efficiency, conducting routine inspections and basic maintenance, operating pallet jacks/hoists, completing production documentation, and performing quality checks within the Pregis Quality Management System. Requires hands-on, fast-paced production experience, strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, safety focus, and teamwork. Preferred candidates have 5+ years of machine operator experience and a High School Diploma or GED; experience with roll handling equipment is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Proven machine operator experience (5+ years preferred)
- Experience with machine setup, adjustments, and basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and standard safety protocols
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and machinery
- Basic math and computer skills
- Dependable, quality-focused, and committed to safe work practices
- High School Diploma or GED
