Job Summary
2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Welder (Pipe Fitter) to join WesTower Communications Ltd.'s Fabrication Team. Responsibilities include welding various metals, reading technical drawings and weld symbols, plasma cutting and welding, light fitting with jigs/fixtures, following safe work practices, and checking/assembling flange, plate, ports, and antenna mounts. Must have prior fabrication welding experience and CWB FCAW certification; must be physically fit, hold a valid driver’s license, and be fluent in English. In-person, full-time hourly role in Thorsby, Alberta, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a fabrication welder is required
- Must be CWB FCAW Certified
- Good physical fitness
- Valid driver’s license
- Fluent in English
