Job Summary

Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical analysis for non-conforming products to support production program objectives. Assist system owners with drafting dispositions for design non-conformances, preparing technical communications, and evaluating fleet data for product improvement opportunities. Participate in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams while identifying deviations impacting design intent and safety. Perform structural repair design to restore damaged aircraft components. Requires a Bachelor of Science in engineering and experience with electrical schematics and structural design principles. Flexible schedule includes 2nd shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Experience in reading, interpreting, and generating electrical schematics and technical specifications
  • Experience with or knowledge of structural design principles for aircraft primary structure (e.g., fatigue, damage tolerance, corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, and repair techniques)
  • Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime

Desired Qualifications

  • ABET accredited degree
  • Experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • Aerospace, fabrication, manufacturing, and/or additive manufacturing experience
  • Production engineering experience with relevant technological knowledge
  • Experience in solving simple to complex problems
  • Electrical/mechanical system knowledge, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair methodology
  • Experience with Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (MRB / LE) Authority (including participating in Material Review Board activities related to aircraft/component/system/circuit card repairs)
  • Functional system level and component level testing
