Job Summary
Operate and maintain CNC Mill machinery from blueprints to produce precision parts, performing quality checks for accuracy and identifying defects with the QC team. Set up tools and machinery for individual projects, work with the Manufacturing Engineer on program changes, and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Adhere strictly to established safety procedures, including the use of hearing and eye protection, while maintaining a clean work area. Requires mill machining experience, knowledge of FANUC controls, and ability to use measuring equipment. Full-time shift role in a fast-paced machine shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- Mill machining experience
- Knowledge of FANUC controls
- Able to use measuring equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, etc.
- Able to read and interpret charts, drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of safety procedures relating to operating Grinding machinery and handling materials
- Ability to interpret, edit, and program efficiently, when required
- Must be able to follow directions and perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
- Strong communication skills to work as part of a team
- Machinist tools
- High School Diploma, or GED
- Use of hearing protection, eye protection and safety shoes required
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of 4th axis operation, a plus
