Job Summary
2nd line Field Engineer responsible for onsite and remote IT support for East Midlands clients, with strong emphasis on customer service and clear, proactive communication. You will resolve onsite IT malfunctions, provide service-desk support (onsite and remote), manage and prioritize tickets, and escalate as needed while meeting SLA targets. Key technical requirements include Office 365 (on-premise and cloud), Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, Server technologies, networking (LAN/WAN/DNS/Firewalls), and security toolsets (e.g., McAfee EPO). Prior experience in a client-facing role and in the Not-for-Profit sector is advantageous. Strong problem-solving abilities, ability to work with cross-functional teams (IT Managers, Customer Experience, Professional Services, IT Security), and a customer-first mindset are essential. Hybrid working model is offered.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong technical skills: Office 365 (on premise and cloud), Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, Server, networking (LAN/WAN/DNS/Firewalls), security tools (McAfee EPO)
- Experience with ticketing systems (ITIL Framework)
- Onsite field engineer experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to manage own tickets and adhere to SLA deadlines
