Job Summary
Deliver 2nd grade curriculum per Common Core and SBCSC standards in a differentiated, general education setting. Responsibilities include providing adequate lesson plans, direct instruction, guidance, and assessment; maintaining a safe classroom and effective management; communicating with parents; completing student records; using SBCSC technology; employing data-driven instruction with data sources such as the 8-Step process, mClass, and fluency testing; collaborating with grade-level teams to plan and evaluate learning progress.
Required Qualifications
- Indiana State license or certification as a teacher
- Highly Qualified status per state requirements
