Job Summary
Plans instruction and assessment aligned with District learner outcomes and State achievement standards. Supervises assigned students and maintains a positive learning environment. Teaches the approved Eagle County School’s curriculum; participates in cluster group meetings focused on student learning and growth; contributes to school-wide culture and professional development; plans standards-based learning and selects content, instructional strategies, and assessments aligned with district outcomes; promotes and maintains positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the community; ensures instruction meets diverse learning needs and complies with licensure and Highly Qualified requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Colorado teaching license or authorization
- No Child Left Behind Highly Qualified status (Colorado)
- CTE certification preferred or willingness to gain CTE certification
- Colorado Department of Education teaching license eligibility
- Endorsement in teaching area preferred
