2nd Grade Teacher

Teach 2nd grade and lead students toward academic and personal growth. Meet and instruct assigned classes in Penitas, TX; develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning; prepare for classes with written evidence of preparation; maintain accurate records; employ varied instructional techniques and media; protect students and materials; evaluate student progress; uphold school rules and policies; be available to students/parents outside instructional time; participate in faculty meetings; collaborate with staff on instructional goals and material selection; demonstrate ongoing professional growth through reading workshops, seminars, and advanced course work; assume responsibilities for co-curricular activities as assigned when not interfering with teaching duties.
