2nd Grade Teacher

A Second grade Teacher is responsible for fostering a Christ-centered, academically excellent learning environment that nurtures the spiritual, intellectual, social and emotional growth of each student. The teacher will integrate Catholic values into all aspects of education, maintain high academic standards, and uphold the mission and vision of Immaculate Conception School. Responsibilities include Faith Formation (modeling Catholic values, incorporating faith-based principles, participating in liturgies and religious celebrations), Instructional Excellence (developing lesson plans aligned with diocesan standards, employing differentiated instruction, integrating technology), Student Development (supporting spiritual, academic and social-emotional growth, maintaining high behavioral and achievement expectations, assessing progress and communicating with parents), Community Engagement (building relationships with students, families, and colleagues, supporting school events and stewardship projects), and Professional Growth (ongoing professional development, seeking feedback, collaborating with colleagues). The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, a valid teaching credential for elementary education, and active, practicing Catholic faith.
