Directly organize and supervise daily engine department operations as the primary deputy to the Chief Engineer. Prepare main propulsion systems for sea and manage maintenance of all auxiliary, cargo, and deck machinery. Ensure general cleanliness and structural integrity of machinery spaces while managing both junior engineering officers and engine room ratings. Joining date is 03 September 2026 for this 2nd Engineer role on an 81,488 GT containership flagged under Liberia, with MAN B&W engines.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Second Engineer for Containership
- Experience with MAN B&W engines
- Ability to serve as primary deputy to the Chief Engineer
