Job Summary
YES Prep Southeast Elementary seeks a 2nd Bilingual Teacher (Bilingual-Certified; TIA-Eligible) to develop rigorous, content-specific lessons to engage bilingual students in 1:1 blended learning environments, set ambitious goals, monitor student growth, and maintain consistent communication with families. The role involves building strong relationships with students and families, collaborating with co-planners, meeting regular deadlines for plans and grades, providing supervision duties for student safety, growing professionally with feedback, and delivering personal care services as needed. The role requires bilingual Spanish proficiency, a bachelor’s degree, Texas educator certification or active ACP track, and comfort with educational technology and data-driven instruction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university recognized by THECB
- Texas Educator Certification, or willing to join ACP to get bilingual certified
- Bilingual Spanish (Fluent)
- Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology
- Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms
- Belief in and commitment to the mission and core value of YES Prep Public Schools
