Job Summary
Perform set-up, start-up, and changeover procedures for equipment while accurately maintaining downtime records during line operation. Assist in troubleshooting line performance issues and conduct quality checks, documenting results and communicating any process or product abnormalities to supervisors. Execute sanitation duties for production and periodic work as assigned, and monitor for dust, starch, heat, and humidity conditions. Lift 50 pounds and use simple mathematics. Work the 2nd shift (M-F, 2:30pm-10:30pm) or 3rd shift (S-Th, 10:30pm-6:30pm) with daily or weekly overtime possible. Communicate with previous and next shifts regarding concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Self-motivated
- Strong drive for results
- Ability to use simple mathematics
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work in areas that contain dust and starch particles
- Ability to work in hot and humid conditions
