Job Summary
Associates in this role perform equipment maintenance, inspection, modifications and troubleshooting duties in a food manufacturing environment, following strict product safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety training, participating in quality audits, operating equipment to optimize quality and productivity, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, and training line associates. The position requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Able to safely and effectively operate power tools, hand tools, and electrical/instrument test equipment
- Able to work under a fast-paced work environment and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Appropriate time management skills to meet deadlines
- Able to follow directions and perform tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision
- Exercises good judgment and decision-making skills
- Able to work flexible schedules when needed
- Able to safely work at heights
- Maintain an excellent attendance record
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment and/or as an automotive technician preferred
- Able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail to avoid and/or identify errors
- Good organizational skills
