Job Summary
Monitor security and life safety alarm systems, dispatch law enforcement and first responders, and coordinate service requests from customers under general direction of the Response Center Manager. Utilize multi-line phones and Microsoft Office applications for accurate documentation, data entry, and scheduling while maintaining superior telephone and verbal communication skills. This fast-paced role requires multi-tasking, stress tolerance, and the ability to problem solve while working on a team to protect customers and their businesses. Rotating schedule includes 2nd shift (11:00 am-9:00 pm) and 3rd shift (9:00 pm-7:00 am) with some weekends, featuring a 4 to 5 days on/3 to 4 days off rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to bend down to get into file
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent customer service skills with co-workers and customers by telephone
- Good documentation and data entry skills
- Accurate typing and 10-key skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be very organized
- Superior telephone, written & verbal communication
