Job Summary
Process and handle raw meat including beef, pork, and poultry while following directives to ensure quality products and maintain safety standards. Troubleshoot to minimize downtime and perform sanitation work and cleaning throughout the entirety of your shift, completing tasks daily multiple times. Process regulated documentation and adhere to strict quality and safety standards in a refrigerated environment. Work 2nd or 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, Monday-Friday, or Tuesday-Saturday) in a cold, wet environment with an 8- to 12-hour schedule. Lift up to 50 lbs., bend, carry, push, and pull. Join the 2nd & 3rd Production Team at the Kraft Heinz Davenport plant, a new facility producing Oscar Mayer Deli Meats and Lunchables.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- At least 18-years of age
- 2-years of continuous prior employment
- Prior Manufacturing Experience preferred but not required
- Able to stand for entire 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour Shift
- Able to work in a cold/wet environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, carry, push, and pull
- Ability to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and Pymetric testing
- Must have a valid State-issued photo ID
- Must have reliable transportation for any possible shift
- Must be able to follow directives to ensure quality products while maintaining safety standards
- Must be safety and quality oriented
- Willing to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, refrigerated environment
- Must have training availability for all shift times
- Must be able to remove all jewelry, gauges, facial piercings, fake nails, fake eyelashes and nail polish (even clear) before starting employment
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience is a plus
